Blast cleaning is also called abrasive sand blasting, it is a process of cleaning and abrasive that the abradant is spurt out to the surface by sandblasting machine. The abradant can be the natural sand, artificial ore or partical of steel and iron. Sandblasting is for cleaning, controlling the roughness of surface, in order to further surface treament, coating and carving.

The similar applications include that wiping off the rust from steel rolling, steel forging and heat treatment of steel. The sandblasting is a very good start for surface treatment before spray painting, electroplating and glazing. Clean the outer wall of building and carving the monument are another two popular applicationg of sandblasting.

Generally the working pressure of sandblasting machine is designed 90-125psig. The air flow for running the machine depends on the size of nozzle. More air flow, higher productivity.
